Goa

Mark and I have arrived in Goa and wow this is a different India!!!  I’ve seen female tourist’s knees*!  I’ve seen Indian women’s knees!  In fact, I’m currently wearing a sun dress!!!  They serve meat here, people here are more relaxed and the locals (as opposed to the India tourists) don’t stare!!!  AMAZING

It is still definitely India, there are cows on the beach!!!

Hopefully the rest of the south is like this, but if not, I’m going to enjoy my time in Goa while I can!!

Prior to arriving in Goa, we went to the Taj Mahal in Agra, which was everything everyone had said it would be while the town of Agra wasn‘t as evil as it was purported to be.   We also went on a Tiger safari, and despite our best effort, didn’t manage to see much more than tiger traks.

Mark has promised to write a blog about what we’ve been up to, and since it will be filled with more information that I could ever possibly conceive of including, I’m going to end here.




*Have I mentioned the conservative dress code in India, girls have to cover from shoulder to ankle, and absolutely no plunging necklines!!!
